Welcome to the U.S.S. Gladiator-A!

A Gladiator was an armed combatant who entertained audiences in the Roman Republic and Roman Empire in violent confrontations with other gladiators, wild animals, and condemned criminals. Some gladiators were volunteers who risked their legal and social standing and their lives by appearing in the arena. Most were despised as slaves, schooled under harsh conditions, socially marginalized, and segregated even in death.

In the year 2394, the U.S.S. Gladiator (NCC-79818-A), a Sovereign Class starhip, is the home of a crew that is composed of the best and the brightest, but some have a darker history than others, so for them, this opportunity is their second chance.

This crew is composed of the best to which have shady backgrounds that can be found in the Fleet and Marine Corps. As a team, they are charged with protecting the Federation's interests on the border with Romulan space. With the destruction Hobus star the Romulan empire is in shambles conflicts are growing. Vying for power are Romulan factions, warlords, and other independent governments.

Join the crew of the USS Gladiator as they explore new areas of space and culture, struggle to maintain the balance of power, protect the interests of the federation, and discover themselves in the process.

» 5 Years & Counting!

Posted on Thu Jan 10th, 2019 @ 11:00am by Captain David Hawkins in General News

This month , we look back at all the years of ups and downs this community, we call the Gladiator Simm. It has been a wild ride for us all, especially with all those that have been here from the beginning. We want to start off by saying thank you to all those that have made this community as what is has become. We may not have the most active numbers out there, but we can safely say that we have made a name for ourselves, both in a positive and negative ways. But one of those that mark us as an Elite Sim is hitting the 5 year anniversary of activity. Its been a bumpy ride, but we have always come out on top with great stories and most of all... great friends and family. We look forward to another 5 years.

Join us this year and celebrate our elite status in which we are all proud of. Great work people and thank you all for making this Simm the community it is now!

Hello crew! I wanted to quickly welcome our newest member on the ship, Lieutenant J.G. Alexander Percival M.D., our new Chief Medical Officer. I hope everyone gets a chance to chat and get to know our new crew mate. Remember everyone to get active on the Primary JP and lets keep going. Welcome once again Percival. WE have an open door policy and want to hear thoughts and ideas to which we will do our best to make it happen if its realistic enough!
